My Order Already Shipped — What Are My Options?

Once your GE Designs order has shipped, it cannot be changed or canceled — but you still have options depending on the situation.


1. If You Need to Change Delivery Instructions

FedEx may allow you to:

  • Hold at a FedEx location

  • Add delivery instructions

  • Request a delivery window

  • Manage porch delivery options

2. If the Order Was Shipped to the Wrong Address

If the package has already been handed to a carrier:

  • We cannot update the address

  • Carrier may allow reroute depending on location

  • If they cannot reroute, the package will deliver to the original address

Once delivered or returned, we can advise next steps.


3. If You Want to Return the Item After Delivery

Your return must follow our return policy:

  • Must be unused

  • In original packaging

  • Request authorization before sending anything back

  • Books, patterns, magazines, digital downloads, and subscription items are non-returnable

  • Sale items cannot be refunded


4. If You Received the Wrong Item or It Arrived Damaged

Email us and we’ll make it right.

For damaged or defective items:

  • We will provide a prepaid return label

  • We will exchange for the same item

5. If You Want to Exchange a Non-Damaged Item

Exchanges can be made if:

  • The item is unused

  • Still in original packaging

  • You cover return shipping costs
